We can only guarantee which courses will cause schedule conflicts once the timetables have been published.

Study restrictions
- Students must take 70% of their courses in the department they are nominated to (1-2 electives from another department). Exceptions can be made for students studying in programs that combine two departments. However, this can cause timetabling issues.
- To increase the options of courses available, the School of Computer Science now allows 3rd year BSc students (completed 120 ECTS) to take MSc-level courses.
- Exchange students cannot take courses offered by Iceland School of Energy (except ISE partners) MBA & Clinical Psychology.
- Iceland School of Energy: It's not possible to nominate students to ISE unless there is a specific agreement in place. Exchange students from partner universities of ISE are only allowed to take one semester in the programme.
- Students are only accepted for thesis work if pre-arranged with a Professor.
